SageRAN 5G Indoor Small Cell showcased at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference

The World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) 2022 was held from September 1 to 3 at the Shanghai World Expo Center. The conference explored the hardcore technology, fusion scenarios, and industrial ecology of new AI technologies and metaverse new tracks. It also had five domestic and overseas sub-venues in North America, Europe, Singapore, South Korea, and Hong Kong, China.

During the conference, the "5G Slicing Rendering Technology Enhances Borderless XR New Experience" demonstrated by Qualcomm, China Mobile, and China He Group was selected as one of the eight "flagship products" of the World Artificial Intelligence Conference. In this demonstration, SageRAN provided a 5G indoor small cell based on the Qualcomm FSM100 5G RAN platform, which provided high-bandwidth and low-latency 5G wireless networks for the VR and Xiaomi smartphones (equipped with the Snapdragon mobile platform) using China Mobile's terminal slicing solution. Combined with the immersive interactive content, it achieved seamless synchronization of cloud real-time rendering and XR terminal local optimized rendering, thereby realizing a sensory interactive experience.
